ABOUT
Welcome to Koester Films! My name is Ethan Koester, and I've been a lover of filmmaking for as long as I can remember! Ever since I was a kid, I loved using the family camcorder to make little movies for my friends and family. When I got my first computer I found my love for editing when I started with Windows Movie Maker. I graduated to editing music, transitions, cuts, and I pushed the boundaries of what you can do on the simple editing software.
I love all genres of film, comedy, horror, action, I'm always open to try new ideas and get new experience! I work well with others and I'm a good leader to bring together all the best ideas into one vision. I'm a director, a writer, producer, editor, and fill in actor, and if I'm not the head creator of a project, I'm willing to fill any necessary spots.
Now I'm going to school to study filmmaking, and I hope to be a professional director one day, but I also still want to pursue editing, producing and every other aspect of creating films, I just love it all! I hope you enjoy the content I've made so far, and check back in for much more to come!
